An undergraduate AI Scholar investigated energy-consumption tradeoffs between Edge and cloud AI deployments with support from a graduate research collaborator. The work was presented at university research venues and demonstrates a mentoring model that combines technical inquiry, publication-oriented work, and near-peer learning.
